Today's deep thought: So if you ever find yourself in a "heated discussion with a vegan". I'm sure you've heard the point made by vegans "WELL 80% OF ALL SOYBEANS ARE FED TO LIVESTOCK!!!!!!" yes I know the caps lock was left on I figured it would be more realistic this way... lol.
But here's the reality of that line of argument. I suppose technically its not a lie. 80% of the soybean is being fed to animals. although here is the grey area, that 80% in question would exist regardless. (humans will not do without their soy oil, it's simply in too many products.) And with out animal ag that 80% would just be wasted. It would still be grown. Its rather humorous, what you catch vegans screaming on about isn't it? Here is yet another clear example of, the reason vegans believe Animal Agriculture should not exist.... really ,it is no reason at all!
Oh, and on a side note, I suppose this would be a very good reason why all feed grains that are fed to livestock is so high. Soybeans is a major crop with alot of acres sown every year which would impact "their number" drastically.
